Baseball Reflex Training

For baseball reflex training coaches have tried a variety of ways to help their players improve.  Most of these ways are predictable and the players are somewhat better prepared, but this did not always translate to better fielding during a game situation.

A father knew this and because of the desire to help his son improve in this area he decided to do something about it. After some time the ReactionPro® Pad was developed. This simple device helped his son improve his reflexes and ability to react at a moment’s notice. That is what it takes to stop that bad hop ball during a game, reacting not thinking.

It took less than one season of practice with the ReactionPro® for this son to improve his defensive reaction skills to the level other fathers and coaches started to ask about this new training technique. Before long the demand was so great that it developed into a business.

At this time of the year you will be able o enjoy keeping your skills sharpened by using this training too indoors.  It does not take a whole lot of space, say in a gym or your cellar or a barn, actually anywhere two people can throw the ball.  The coach or teammate throws the ball at the training pad and the fielder in training has to react to the ball no matter which direction it happens to hop to.

This is very similar to the unpredictability of a ground ball that is hit to the infield to to the outfield.  You just never know what little divot or crevice might make a ball hop off into a direction you were not planning on.  That is the inherit beauty of the ReactionPro® baseball reflex training pad.

As this post is being published you still have time to order these training systems to be given as Christmas gifts.  Order now by clicking on the banner ad over on the right.  Happy Holidays everyone.

Ground Ball Work Out

For an effective ground ball work out to occur, every possible aspect of what might happen must be experienced. This is where most workouts have failed in the past for players.

Fast ground balls and bouncing ground balls have always been able to be practiced with a coach or team mate hitting the ball to the infielders, but not the bad hop ball. This has always occurred as a rare occasion with the ball came in contact with a gopher mound or other imperfection in the field of play.

To raise the occurrence of the bad hop ball from an occasional, unpredictable event to 100% occurrence, the introduction of the ReactionPro® Pad can be implemented. When this pad is introduced, the players will know that there will be a bad hop ball and they will have to react, but which way and how is unknown until it occurs. This preparedness will help them not only respond quicker during practice but build a foundation for better play on the field in a game situation.

Players that have practiced with this reaction training pad are not only better prepared physically to handle the bad hop ball, but mentally. By having actually seen and responded to more of them than what would naturally occur, they are properly prepared for the rare occurrence at the needed moment during a game that could be the difference in winning or losing a critical game.

Another beautiful thing about this fielding training tool is that it may be used year around, indoors or outside. The repetitive training is what will sharpen the players skills to a point that they will not even think, they will react.

With more and more teams utilizing this new practice aid in their daily workouts, any team without it will be at a disadvantage. Include the ReactionPro® Pad as part of your daily ground ball work out and have your team more prepared than any other team in your league.
